Prepare your workspace. You will need natural and coloured lolly sticks, broad colour pens, a pencil, ruler, scissors, white card, glitter, sequins, glue and ribbons.

Using a pencil, draw out a small house shape on the white card and then cut out this shape with scissors.

Trim down some coloured lollypop sticks with scissors and use the school glue to stick these onto your card to represent a door.

Measure the natural lollypop sticks against the base of the house and trim where necessary, stick these down with glue.

Cut a length of ribbon to use as a hanging loop. Stick this on the top of the gingerbread house roof.

Trim down some more coloured lollypop sticks to use for the roof, you can also add some glitter, sequins and card as windows.

There are endless creative possibilities with these gingerbread house ornaments. Use them as tree ornaments or on door handles for a fully festive look.
